Maps and Directions – how do I get there

By Plane

From Airport Berlin-Tegel:

There are a couple of ways to go to the venue by public transportation from Tegel airport, all take about 40 minutes. Here is one: take the bus, line 109, direction S+U Zoologischer Garten, leave at station U Jakob-Kaiser-Platz. At U Jakob-Kaiser-Platz, take the Underground, line U7, direction Rudow, leave at station Fehrbelliner Platz. Here, take U-Bahn, line U3, direction Krumme Lanke, leave at station Dahlem Dorf. Then, its a 5 minute walk.

Using a taxi costs about 25 Euros.

From Airport Berlin-Schönefeld, also known as Berlin-Brandenburg International (BBI)

There are a few ways to go to the venue by public transportation from BBI airport, all take about 60 minutes. Here is one (may be the most convenient): take the bus, line SXF 1, direction Südkreuz, leave at final destination station Südkreuz. At station Südkreuz, take the S-Bahn, line S25, direction Teltow Stadt, leave at station Lankwitz. At Lankwitz, take the bus, line X83, direction Königin-Luise-Straße/Clayallee, leave at station Museum Dahlem. Then its a 1 minute walk.

Using a taxi costs about 40 Euros.

By Car

By Public Transportation

At Berlin main station (ICE-, IC-, RE-, RB-station), the most convenient way may be that one: take one of the several S-Bahn trains that go to the west, e.g., S7 – direction Potsdam, S75 – direction Spandau, S5 – direction Charlottenburg. In all cases, leave at station Zoologischer Garten. At Zoologischer Garten, take the Underground, line U9, direction Rathaus Steglitz, leave at final destination (Rathaus Steglitz). At Rathaus Steglitz, take the bus, line X83, direction Königin-Luise-Straße/Clayallee, leave at station Museum Dahlem. Then its a 1 minute walk. That way takes about 40 minutes.

Inside Berlin:

  • At viewpoint Alexanderplatz: take one of the several S-Bahn trains that go to the west, e.g., S7 – direction Potsdam, S75 – direction Spandau, S5 – direction Charlottenburg. In all cases, leave at station Friedrichstraße. At Friedrichstraße, take S-Bahn, line S1, directionWannsee, leave at station Rathaus Steglitz. At Rathaus Steglitz, take the bus, line X83, direction Königin-Luise-Straße/Clayallee, leave at station Museum Dahlem. Then its a 1 minute walk.That way takes about 35 minutes.
  • At station Berlin-Zoologischer Garten:
  • U-Bahn, line U9, direction Rathaus Steglitz, leave at final destination (Rathaus Steglitz). At Rathaus Steglitz, take the bus, line X83, direction Königin-Luise-Straße/Clayallee, leave at station Museum Dahlem. Then its a 1 minute walk. That way takes about 25 minutes.
  • Alternative: U-Bahn, line U9, direction Rathaus Steglitz, leave at stationSpichernstraße. At Spichernstraße, take U3, direction Krumme Lanke, leave at station Dahlem Dorf. Then, its a 5 minute walk, or take the bus X83, directionLichtenrade, Nahariyastr, leave at Museum Dahlem (next station). That way takes about 25 minutes.
  • At station Friedrichstraße: S-Bahn, line S1, direction Wannsee, leave at station Rathaus Steglitz. At Rathaus Steglitz, take the bus, line X83, direction Königin-Luise-Straße/Clayallee, leave at station Museum Dahlem. Then its a 1 minute walk. That way takes about 30 minutes.
