While oral presentations are reserved for invited contributors and the MetStröm-projects, we invite regular participants, i.e. those who are not involved in MetStröm-projects, to contribute an oral talk or a poster presentation to the conference.

In case a poster is presented, authors will be asked for a 4 minutes talk to summarize their publication. Furthermore, authors of poster publications should be prepared to provide an extended summary of their poster presentation in case a gap should occur in the time schedule.

Author Guidelines for Oral Presentations

The authors are kindly asked to upload their presentations directly within 30 minutes preceding the actual time of the session starts. An assistant will be available for any help.

Author Guidelines for Poster Presentations

It is our intention to support intense and iterated discussions between the participants throughout the week. Therefore, we provide a permanent poster exhibition from Monday to Friday instead of a particular display time.

There will be an “Authors in Attendance Time” (determining the actual time of poster presentation) on Tuesday at 10.20 AM and at 3:20 PM. The Authors in Attendance Time is the time when the respective authors of a poster must be available at their display for presentation.

In addition, we offer the promotion of the posters in an extra session on Monday, where authors of poster publications should give an oral summary of their presentation (about 4 minutes per poster).

Poster Board Format

  • Poster Board (Width x Height): 119cm x 147cm

  • All the material necessary for attaching the poster to the poster board is available at the Facility Desk in the poster area.
